'No doubt' Ronaldo is 'the best player in the world' - Pele

Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is 'the beat player in the world' without 'no doubt' according to Brazilian legend Pele.

Ronaldo is the favorite to win this Ballon d’Or award after helping guide Real Madrid to Champions League and La Liga glory last season.

“Two years ago I gave the (Ballon d’Or) trophy to him and it was an honour for me,” the 76-year-old told reporters at a media event.

“The best player in the world? No doubt. As I have mentioned, I think that today there is no doubt the best player, the best scorer and the best forward is Cristiano Ronaldo.”
