Mourinho speak on potential reunion with Ronaldo and Bale

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho said Real Madrid duo Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale never wanted to leave the club, so "why waste time?"

Both Ronaldo and Bale were heavily linked with a reunion with their former boss who now manage at Old Trafford but when asked about the pair at a Press conference prior to a summer friendly between the Red Devils and Los Blancos, Mourinho distanced his club from the rumoured transfer.

“It’s clear that Bale, like Cristiano, likes Madrid, likes the challenge he has and is in a very good situation,” he replied, according to AS.

“I never felt like he wanted to leave, so why waste time and energy on that?”
