Cristiano Ronaldo Told Court He Want To Leave Spain

Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly expressed his desire leave Spain and  to return to England. 

The Portuguese star was accused of tax fraud and image right earlier this summer, and has told the court he would to return to England, but no club has shown any interest. 

However, in a court appearance on the matter last week, the 32-year-old superstar allegedly revealed a desire to end his time in Spain and return to England, where he has previously represented Manchester United .

According to Sky Sports News, the 32-year-old said: "In England, I never had these problems, that's why I want to go back there.

"I always paid my taxes, always. In England and In Spain. And I always paid. As you know, I can not hide anything, it would be ridiculous on my part to do such a thing.

"I am an open book. you don't need to do anything but type my name into Google and everything about Cristiano comes out.

"For example, Forbes magazine releases all of my earnings."

News that Ronaldo was unsettled in Spain, following the initial allegations, were first reported back in June.

Portuguese outlet A Bola claimed the superstar had become disillusioned by claims he had defrauded authorities of €14.7million.

The same publication then reported that Real Madrid were bracing themselves for a £157million bid for the 32-year-old.

The speculation died down after Ronaldo returned to Madrid following the Confederations Cup in Russia.

But his latest comments suggest a possible move to England may be back on, with Manchester United surely at the front of the queue.

"I paid everything in 2014," Ronaldo added. 

"I don't understand anything about this, I only went to school until my sixth year and the only thing I know how to do is play football well.

"When my advisors tell me, 'Cris, it's okay' then I believe them."

If Ronaldo was to move on in this transfer window it would add to what has already been a remarkable and expensive month in Europe.
