Lucas Vazquez Emerge As Transfer Target For Roma

Serie A giants Roma are reportedly considering a swoop for Real Madrid attacker Lucas Vazquez after failing to complete a move for Leicester City's Riyad Mahrez, according to reports in Spain. 

Diario AS cites a report by Gianluca Di Marzio which suggested the Giallorossi are ending their pursuit in the Algerian due to the Foxes unwillingness to bargain down their asking price.

Vazquez – who AS claim is also interesting Newcastle United – may depart the Bernabeu this summer due to the emergence of Marco Asensio likely to limit his playing time.

The 26-year-old made 50 appearances for Los Blancos but started only 12 times in La Liga and twice in the Champions League.
