Marcelo will miss next two matches after his red card in Real Madrid's 1-1 draw with Levante.
The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) have confirmed the Brazilian will upcoming away game against Real Sociedad and home match with Real Betis, although will play against APOEL Nicosia in the Champions League tonight.
Theo Hernandez, a summer signing from Atletico Madrid, made his first La Liga start during the recent 1-1 draw with Levante and is set to replace the 29-year-old for the next two league outings.
