Cristiano Ronaldo has told his Portugal team-mates that his decision to leave Real Madrid is final as 'there's no turning back'.

The football world was left in Aww when The Portuguese Press revealed on Friday that Ronaldo had an 'irreversible decision' to leave the Bernabeu after facing tax fraud accusations by the Spanish state.

“I’m leaving Madrid, I’m determined. There’s no turning back,” he was quoted as telling his Selecao teammates by Marca and AS.

The 32-year-old is currently on international duty with Portugal in Russia.

Marca also believes the decision is “final”, despite Los Blancos’ pleas for the superstar to wait a fortnight, when “normality can be brought back to the situation”, as he feels “mistreated” in Spain.

Despite having €1bm release clause in his contract, Manchester United and Paris St-Germain have already been begin talks, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, and the bid could go down to €400m – which includes wages – for suitors.
