Real Madrid Face Competition From Man City For Monaco Striker
Manchester City have reportedly lodged a world record transfer bid for Monaco’s Kylian Mbappe after reports Real Madrid had agree a deal for the striker.
Reports in Marca on Tuesday stated Madrid have agreed a €180m deal with the French champions for the highly-prized 18-year-old striker.
However, a number of reports from across the British media are now stating Pep Guardiola’s side – who have already equalled the record spend by one club in a transfer window – have now entered the fray.
The reports state the Manchester-based club believe Los Blancos do not have the sufficient funds to sanction a deal for the French striker, whereas they can complete a deal immediately.
Alvaro Morata, Danilo, Pepe and James Rodriguez are among the high-profile exits from the Bernabeu this summer with Dani Ceballos and Theo Hernandez the only two major arrivals thusfar.
