Real Madrid reject Juventus €75m bid Mateo Kovacic

Real Madrid have turn down a €75m Juventus bid for "untouchable" Mateo Kovacic, according to reports.

The Serie A champions are will not to return with an improved bid as they have completed a move for Blaise Matuidi from Paris St-Germain on Friday, according to AS.

The newspaper explains Kovacic is in “great form” and that “it hasn’t gone unnoticed among ‘madridismo’”.

The Croat started both legs of the Supercopa against Barcelona and impressed, prompting Zinedine Zidane to single him out for praise after the first game at Camp Nou and regard him as “not for sale”.

He then received a rapturous ovation from Blancos fans when he was substituted in the return fixture.
